RATES

Labour Charges: My hourly labour rate is $30.00 per hour for time on site, unless a flat rate is agreed upon. Minimum charge is $50.00 per Job. Hourly charges on Estimates are based on the estimated maximum time required to complete the Job. Labour charges, for the Job as described, will not exceed this estimated amount but may be less, if the actual time required is less than the estimated maximum time.

Materials and Supplier Delivery Charges: These charges will be billed at the normal retail cost. I do not mark up material charges. The actual final costs may vary from an Estimate due to price changes and/or the amount of materials actually used.

Miscellaneous Supplies: For smaller amounts of materials where it is not reasonable to charge the customer for an entire purchasable lot, the charge will be calculated as a proportionate percentage of the lot cost.

Travel Charges: As my truck is my biggest expense, and traveling time is not included in the Labour Charges, I charge $1.00 per kilometer for travel exceeding 20 kilometers per round trip between the Customer's site and Bruce the Handyman's home. This breaks down to $0.50 per kilometer for truck expenses and $0.50 for travel time.

Delivery Charges: For material pickup and delivery by Bruce the Handyman, the charge is based on the extra travel and time required, using the labour and travel rates described above.

Disposal Charges: For removal and disposal of old materials by Bruce the Handyman, the charge is also based on the extra travel and time required, using the labour and travel rates described above. There will also be a $20.00 City landfill fee per load.
